Mrs. Whitney Overman

I first started teaching kindergarten enrichment in the DeSoto school district for 3 years. After getting my degree in Elementary Education and Masters in Curriculum and instruction I taught in the Olathe School District for 6 years. For over 9 years I have been enriching the lives of students by providing a positive learning experience for elementary aged children. Brilliant Beginnings Academy allows me to bring my real-world classroom experience to a more private, individualized setting.

I have two boys, Rexton (3 years old) and Ryker (2 years old). One of my favorite places to be is outdoors. The boys and I love to go on bike rides and discover new playgrounds and parks in the area. I started a mom group where I add events, coordinate playgroups, and organize outings in the KC area for families with young children. My hobbies include reading, the pursuit of knowledge and understanding, working with the youth at my church, ballet, girls craft nights, and running.
